SAN THOME ACADEMY HOSTS GRAND “VIBRANT 2025” ANNUAL SPORTS & CULTURAL MEET

San Thome Academy celebrated its much-awaited annual extravaganza, “Vibrant 2025 – The Annual Sports and Cultural Meet,” with unmatched zeal and enthusiasm. The entire atmosphere was charged with patriotic fervor and true sportsmanship.

The event was graced by a distinguished lineup of guests. The Chief Guest, Mr. Rituraj, IAS, District Magistrate, Dewas, in his message applauded the school for its outstanding achievements and its continual commitment to excellence.Mr. Puneet Gehlod, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Dewas, Guest of Honour on the occasion,  appreciated the disciplined and vibrant environment of the event. Mr. Kulvinder Singh Gill, the Guest of Honour, praised the school’s efforts towards the holistic development of its students and congratulated them for their achievements at the State and National levels.

Also present on the occasion were Mr. Nagesh Vyas, Secretary , MP Roller Skating Association, Rev. Toms Ninan, Vice Chairman Marthoma group of Schools Mrs. Ritu Sharma, Chairperson, Selection Committee MP Women Basketball and Rev. Riju John Thomas, KSK, Shipra whose presence added dignity and warmth to the celebration.

The guests were accorded a heartfelt welcome by the President, Mr. Sunil Thomas, the Director, Mrs. Hansy Thomas, and the Principal, Mr. Puneet Upadhyay.

The ceremonial flame was lit at the outset, and the guests released pigeons along with tricolour balloons, symbolising goodwill, peace, and harmony.

The day unfolded with the perfectly synchronized March Past, a visual treat of precision and perfect synchronisation. Along with the four houses of San Thome Academy, the parade featured specially trained platoons of the Hindustan Scouts and Guides and the Eco Warriors representing the school’s Eco Club—reiterating the institution’s mission to save the environment and conserve every drop of water.

The event showcased electrifying track and field competitions for all classes, keeping the audience captivated throughout. Adding to the grandeur were mesmerizing cultural performances on the theme of Patriotism, which stirred emotions and filled the arena with nationalistic pride.

The winners of the track events and the school’s meritorious students were also felicitated on the occasion.
