Greetings!!!

While welcoming you to the website of San Thome Academy, I would like to thank the Almighty for bestowing me an opportunity to be associated with this prestigious school that has a well- respected history of providing exceptional educational outcomes and opportunities for its students.

We, the fraternity of San Thome Academy, Dewas, have taken this platform to serve all the students who have diverse talents and skills so that the best techniques can be practised to shape the young minds, with the ingredients needed to succeed in the 21^stcentury.

Underpinning the motto of the school – “The Alpha of Education”, we, at San Thome Academy strongly believe that every child who studies in our school is unique, and it is our responsibility to maintain an ambience:

• to make the child an interested and motivated learner.
• to use the textbook as a supportive rather than a central learning tool.
• to appreciate and help develop the qualities of every child.
• to promote secular independent thinking.
• to set high academic standards and help children attain them.
• to promote reading.

Student success is the goal of every member of staff at San Thome Academy.  Staff is devoted to utilizing research-based best practices to guide every student, every day to reach their full potential. We invite you to become an active participant by joining Parent Teacher Meetings, attending and supporting the school events. Educational research shows that one of the most important characteristics of an effective school is building a strong home-school relationship. San Thomians welcome your involvement and seeks to create sustained association.

Education is a partnership between the school, students, parents/guardians, and community. Communication is a vital component of a successful educational experience.  Together, we will continue to improve the quality of our school community and provide the best for the children.  All children are more successful when we work in unison to achieve educational goals.

Therefore, I look forward for a strong bond of trust, affection, love and respect between parents, teachers and the school. Let us share the mark of responsibility in nurturing the children together. The success of our students is indeed a pride to our school.
