WELCOME TO THE ACADEMIC SESSION OF 2018-2019
Dear Parents/ Guardians,
It is our pleasure to welcome you all to the academic session 2018-2019. Once again we have completed a very successful year in academics as well as all-round development of our San Thomian students. We are all ready to take on another session with the sole focus of raising the standard even further. We are not content in being the best school in Dewas rather we aim to be a school that parallels the standards achieved in metropolitan cities.
Please read the following content & guidelines carefully so that you can cooperate with our efforts in making this school a school with a difference.
COMMENCEMENT OF THE NEW SESSION
- Classes for XI standard will begin on 18th June 2018.
- Timings for class XI will be 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.
STREAMS AVAILABLE IN SCHOOL
Main Subjects: Maths/Biology/Commerce/Humanities
Optional Subject: CS/IP/HINDI/MATHS/PHYSICAL EDUCATION
* There will be five subjects in class XI (compulsory English +three main subjects + optional)

EXAMINATION PATTERN
The Examination pattern for all classes will continue as per last session’s pattern unless CBSE brings some changes in the pattern.
This session class XI will appear for the Final Examination in February, 2019 thus class XII will begin in March, 2019 giving extra time to prepare for the Board Examinations of 2019-2020. Please note that if students fail in XI std. then as per CBSE rule he/she will be getting fail transfer certificate. (If Students/Parents apply for TC)
There is no provision for retests or conducting exams earlier or later than scheduled.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
Parents are requested to see that their children wear the proper uniform as per school directives.
- Activity Uniform along with white socks & white shoes must be worn on Wednesdays & Saturdays only.
- Regular uniform along with prescribed school socks & black laced school shoes must be worn on all other days.
*If students do not wear the proper uniform then parents will be informed to either bring the proper uniform to the school or take the student home.
