Dear Parents,

WELCOME TO THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2021-22.

This is how SAN THOME ACADEMY started the journey of online classes when all the schools and teachers were struggling to reach their students during the lockdown period. We just started our journey and God showed us the path and helped us to reach our destination successfully.  With God’s grace and the trust of our dear parents and students, the management and teaching fraternity reached their goals.

We are proud to say that we pioneered in Dewas to start our virtual classes successfully. Last school year was with lots of hindrances and struggles but we completed the targets effectively at every level; academically, flexibly and as a school community. As great as the last school year was for San Thome Academy, the upcoming academic year 2021-2022 will be a promising year too. Looking back at our previous school years we have much to celebrate and be thankful to God Almighty! Our staff, students and parents have contributed well in this enormous growth of our institution.

At San Thome Academy, we focus on complete development of our students by involving them in both scholastic & co-scholastic activities as suggested by CBSE. We are sure this will help our children to realize, understand & explore their talents.

“If a plant is carefully nurtured by a gardener, it will become good, and produce better fruits.” Therefore, children must be given a good training from their earliest childhood. We are here for the same. We are sure that our students of today willcarry forward the Motto of love and unity entrusted in their hands at San Thome Academy, Dewas.

Now here are some important points to take care of for the new session–

• Commencement of the new session–
• For Classes- 9^th , 10^th& 12^th–Session will start from Thursday, 1^st
• For Classes-Nursery, JRM, SRM & 1^st to 8^th–Session will start from Monday,5^th April 2021.

Some instructions regarding the classes–

• For students of classes-IX, X & XII there will be physical classes in school; forstudents of classes- Nursery to 8^th we will be continuing with the live classes in the same manner as we did last year, till the further instructions by the Government.

Transport system– For Classes-IX, X & XII-Schoolconveyance facility will be provided on selected routes.If student wants to avail bus facility then parents need to contact transport in-charge in school office.

School Timings–

• For Classes-IX, X & XII- 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
• Timings of live classes of Nursery to 8^th will be –
• For Nursery, JRM & SRM- It will be 3 days in a week that is Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday. Timing- 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm.
• For Classes- I &II-It will be 5days in a week. Timing- 5:00 pm – 6:15 pm.
• For Classes- III- V- It will be 5 days in a week. Timing-12:15 pm- 2:00 pm
• For Classes- VI-VIII-It will be 5 days in a week. Timing- 8:30 am – 10:15 am.

Uniform– For Classes-IX, X & XII-Parents are requested to see that their children wear the proper uniform as per school directives.

• Activity Uniform along with white socks and white shoes must be worn on Wednesdays and Saturdays only.
• Regular uniform along with prescribed school socks and black school shoes must be worn on all other days.

Discipline–

• Fancy haircuts, bleaching, streaking or colouring of hair for both boys and girls will not be permitted and is strictly prohibited.

Narrow trousers will not be permitted in school.

• Wearing jewellery, multiple earrings on the ears, fancy hairclips, hair bands etc are not permitted in the school.
• Painting of finger nails, make-up, unpolished shoes and unclean uniform will not be allowed in the school. Students must take pride in their school by dressing appropriately.
• Electronic gadgets and pen drives are strictly prohibited in the school.
• Abusive language, fighting, speaking disrespectfully to teachers or school authorities will be dealt firmly.
• Bringing of all books according to each day’s time table is compulsory.
• Id card is must.
• Do not allow the students to come to school by two wheeler.
• Students must attend the class regularly, we want 100% attendance.

Examination Pattern– The examination pattern for all the classes will continue as per last session pattern unless CBSE brings some changes.

Transfer Certificate– Those parents who want to apply for T C due to transfer or any other reason must submit the application for T C before 15^thApril 2021. Those applying for T C after 15^thApril 2021will have to deposit one month’s fees.

System of Fee Payment for the Session 2021-22– The school provides the facility of online fee payment also. Please note that there will be no cash collection of fee on 2^nd and 4^thSaturday at the fee counter of school. Only cheques will be accepted.

Change in Address or Contact Number– Please inform the school office in writing in case there is any change in your residential address or the contact number.

Books –The book list for the session 2021-22 is provided by the school. Parents are free to purchase books from any shop from wherever they like.
