WELCOME TO THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2023-24
Dear Parents,
On behalf of San Thome Academy, Dewas, I am happy to welcome you to the 2023-24 school year! We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize that to be successful in school, our children need support from both home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a significant difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our best to carry out our responsibilities.
Our mission for the coming session will be: Promoting Excellence Through Determination And Hard work. We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:
- Attends school daily and arrives on time, ready for the day’s learning experience.
- Completes all homework assignments given by the teachers.
- Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills.
- Shares school experiences with you so that you are aware of his/her school life.
- Informs you if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject.
- Knows that you expect him/her to succeed in school in all areas such as academics, curricular and co-curricular and sports events.
We are happy to see the significant progress in the performance of the students after the two years loss due to covid-19. This happened because of numerous interventions, teamwork and diligence by the teachers. It is hoped that this standard will not only be maintained but improved upon as we promote and celebrate excellence through determination and hard work. We have introduced ‘Language Lab’ to develop literary skills such as listening, reading, understanding and communication skills.
We will complement our new academic curriculum with our interesting Co-Curricular Activities. These help our children to be well-rounded and well-grounded.
